This is my last spring in Germany. Such bittersweet feelings. Springtime in Germany is the most beautiful season. Green for miles and miles. Red fields of poppies bloom but only for a short time. I am going to soak up every ounce of the next few months because I know the chances of me ever seeing this place again are very slim.

Signature for blog or watermark
Have you seen photographers or bloggers with unique signatures as watermarks or at the end of their posts? If so, you will love what I am now offering on my etsy!
The good thing about having a high resolution personal signature is that it IS NOT a font. No one else is going to have one like you. It's truly one of a kind. :)

Burlap Digital Ribbon
These are high-quality transparent images of ribbon that you can purchase from my etsy shop via instant download! The images range from 40-70 inches in length. Yes, inches. That's huge! You can use these for digital scrapbooking or to create a banner/header for your blog. Burlap is my favorite right now and I am just too excited for these images.

Christmas Time
Christmas time has always been special to me. This year I am spending it alone. This is the first year I haven't had anyone to be with on Christmas. I can't go home and Isacc is deployed. Just me and Loki this year. I originally wasn't going to put up my tree. Being a grinch was my way of getting through the Holiday's without being sad. But, I am not going to let unfortunate circumstances keep me from feeling merry! :) So here is my tree that I quickly threw together at 2 a.m. last night.

Office Facelift!
I'm so incredibly proud of my new office. I love taking on new projects. Beki and I have so many planned for the next few months, it's really exciting! I knew I wanted to paint my office turquoise so we went to OBI and picked out the perfect color. Then we decided we should do turquoise chevrons! They were a challenge!
We decided to use a 12x12 box and make squares all over the walls. Then make a diagonal line through each box forming the zig-zags. (You can see the pencil marks in the pictures.) It was not easy! We kept getting the lines off by a few centimeters and I know they aren't completely straight. But, it's perfect to me!
I am just in love with it. Now that we have an idea of what we are doing we're going to do it again in her nursery. This time we're going to use a 6x6 because she wants slightly smaller chevrons.

Planting Flowers
I had a blast planting my flowers! It was so much fun. It was such a nice day outside. OBI didn't have any affordable plant stands. They were all fancy schmancy. So I decided to pull this old table I have out of the basement and put it together. Eventually I will put more flowers on it I believe, since it's quite big. But overall, I am extremely satisfied.
My favorites are the Succulents which I put on the table. I just love how they turned out.

June Blog Challenge Day 10
I've just decided to use 10 of my favorite Instagram pictures from this year. I mean, who doesn't love Instagram right?
I bought some balcony stuff today because I am desperate to have a cute balcony this year. I am really disappointed that we don't have a yard, but I have to work with what I got. These pots were the only cute ones they had at the PX. Unfortunately living in Germany I don't have the luxury, yes I now call it a luxury, to get up and go to Wal-Mart, Target, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, etc. and pick up cute decorative items. So I get really excited when I see something cute! It makes me kind of sad that it's our first house and we are here in Germany. It's a great experience but if you don't want to travel hours in a foreign country or don't know where to go, you're really SOL when it comes to finding cute things for your house. Plus German style is extremely different than American. Especially me being southern. I want homey, somewhat rustic, cozy decor. Not straight line modern. It's funny because growing up I wanted modern decor and now I have leaned more towards how my Nini decorates.
Tomorrow Beki and I are going to go hit up one of the only German "Home Depot" stores that I know of, OBI. I know they have plants and plant stands so I hope to grab a few.

My day in pictures
Today was such a wonderful day! We spent all day outside. I have wore shoes maybe 2 hours today.
We let the pups play while we played Sorry! on the patio. Then we cooked out and had a great meal.I wish every day were this relaxing and enjoyable.
I am so blessed to have such wonderful people (and animals) in my life!
